Alumni Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship
The DAA scholarship was established in 1979 to acknowledge the accomplishments of children or grandchildren of Duke alumni who have been accepted for undergraduate admission to Duke. The scholarship provides full tuition for eight semesters of undergraduate study, along with a stipend for a summer study away program, and opportunities for scholarship recipients to meet with each other. Duke selects scholarship recipients based on their academic achievement, leadership performance, and meritorious activity outside the classroom. Recipients of the scholarship must demonstrate some financial need, as determined by the director of Financial Aid.

Trinity Scholarships
The Trinity Scholarships were funded by Duke's alumni in the Carolinas to pay tribute to Duke's origins as Trinity College in Randolph County, North Carolina. These scholarships are awarded on a rotating basis to attract the most talented students residing in specific geographic areas of the Carolinas.

Clem and Hayes Clement Trinity Scholarship
Need-based support was provided to a North Carolina student admitted as a first-year student to Trinity College of Arts and Sciences.

Herman W. Bernard Trinity Scholarship
Awarded to a student who at the time of application legally resides in the High Point area, including Archdale, Jamestown, the community of Trinity, and unincorporated areas of Guilford, Randolph, Davidson, and Forsyth Counties adjacent to High Point and deemed part of the city.

A. J. Tannenbaum Trinity Scholarship
Awarded to a North Carolina student, with first preference given to Guilford County residents.
